Sunny Stevens - Trainer / Owner

Sunny Stevens has been teaching and operating Stevehaven Stables for over 40 years. She has taught riders who have competed successfully from the short stirrup level through the Grand Pix jumping level. She has had numerous riders qualify and successfully compete at Harrisburg, Washington, and New York, the major fall indoor horse shows. These riders have shown in equitation, hunter, and jumper divisions. Sunny's greatest pleasure in teaching is seeing a student develop his or her ability to accomplish a task with a horse, whether it is in the show ring or just doing an exercise well in a lesson at home. This development gives each student great enjoyment in riding, which is the primary reason for riding, thus producing success in the show arena.

Professional rider- Mandy Marger

Mandy had a very successful career as a junior rider competing in hunter,jumper and equitation. She has competed in the major equitation finals as a junior and the NAL finals as an amateur. She rode for Stevehaven Stables professionally from 1997-1999. After marriage and twin children she has returned to ride for us working both with young horses giving them a solid foundation on the flat and over fences and keeping the clients' horses "turned-up" when they are in need of help or their owners can not get out to ride.
